Terms of service
Version 1.2, 23 October 2026. In plain words, because you should be able to read what you agree to.

2. What Khanyo does
- Free check. We read a shop’s public pages the way AI crawlers do and report whether AI assistants can reach and read it, with the changes that would fix what is in the way.
- Watch my shop (1 shop) and Agency (up to 25 shops): we re-check the shops you name every week and e-mail you when something changes.
- Whole-catalogue product data ($49 per 100 products): we check every product page we find in your sitemap (up to the number of products you pay for), then give you either a template for your platform that writes product data for every product, or ready-to-add product data for each page. Re-checks of every page are included for 30 days.
- Product data fix: for one product page you name, we write schema.org product data from the facts on that page, check every value against the page, and e-mail it to you with steps to add it.
What we can and can’t promise. robots.txt results are exact. Server results are an indication, because we ask from our own address, not the crawlers’. Being visible is the first condition for being recommended by an AI assistant; it is not a promise that any assistant will recommend your shop, rank it, or send you sales. Results describe your pages at the time of the check. See our honest limits.
3. Using the service
- Check any public website for your own information, but sign up for monitoring or a fix only for shops you own or are authorised to manage (for example as their agency).
- Don’t try to overload, bypass the limits of, or break the service, or use it to attack or harvest another website.
- Your manage link and fix link work without a password. Keep them private; anyone with the link can manage that record.
4. Prices and payment
The price is shown on our pricing page and at checkout, before you pay; that is the price you pay.
- Paddle (in US dollars: $9 a month, $49 a month, $19, $49 per 100 products). Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for those orders, and adds any sales tax or VAT due in your country at checkout. Paddle’s buyer terms also apply.
We never see or store your card details.
5. Subscriptions
- Watch my shop and Agency are billed monthly in advance from the day you start, until you cancel.
- Cancel at any time from the manage link in any e-mail we send. No further charges are made; we keep watching until the end of the month you have paid for.
- If a renewal payment fails, monitoring stops at the end of the paid month unless the payment goes through.
- We will tell you by e-mail at least 30 days before a price change affects your subscription; you can cancel before it applies.
6. The product-data fix
- We start once your payment is confirmed and e-mail the result, usually within minutes. If we can’t complete it, we tell you and refund you in full.
- We copy facts from your page and leave out anything we can’t find there. Check the result before you publish it: you decide what goes on your site.
- To write it, the text of that one page is processed by an AI model, as our privacy notice explains.
7. Refunds and cancellation
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of any payment, for any reason. The details, and how to ask, are in our refund policy. This does not limit your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
8. Our responsibility to you
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss of sales, profits or data arising from how AI assistants treat your shop, from changes you make to your site, or from changes by your platform, hosting or security provider, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, including for gross negligence, or limits your rights as a consumer.
9. Your information
We handle personal information as our privacy notice describes, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date and version are at the top. The version in force when you pay applies to that payment. We will e-mail subscribers about changes that affect them.
11. Law and complaints
South African law governs these terms. Please contact us first: contact details. We aim to answer within 2 business days. If we can’t resolve a complaint, you may approach the National Consumer Commission, or for orders paid through Paddle, Paddle’s buyer support at paddle.net.
