Scam Check
Forward any suspicious SMS, WhatsApp or e-mail and get a plain verdict in a minute.
Anyone who gets 'your parcel is waiting' messages, and families who look out for parents.
How it would work
- Forward the message to your Scam Check address or number
- Get a verdict with the tell-tale signs, in plain words
- A weekly round-up of the scams going around, for the whole family plan
Why now
"Fraud detection" searches up 1,150% in two years.
Source: Exploding Topics, lists updated 17-19 Oct 2026
What’s different
Leaves out: Antivirus suites, apps to install, settings.
Adds: A family plan that covers the least technical person in the house.
Planned price: $3 a month, cancel any time. Nothing is built or charged yet: if enough people want it, we build the smallest version and e-mail everyone on the list.
Other experiments
- Spend Sorter: Upload last month's bank statement; get where your money went, by category, every month.
- Cover Letter Desk: A cover letter for every job you apply to, written from your own CV and the advert. Nothing invented.
- Receipt to Tax: Snap receipts all year; get a tax-ready list of expenses at year end.
