Can AI assistants read your WooCommerce shop?
AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity recommend what they can read. Two things decide it: whether their crawlers may reach your shop, and whether your product pages give them the product’s name, price and stock in the standard format they read.

Product data on WooCommerce
WooCommerce writes product data (name, price, stock) into each product page by itself. Some themes and plugins remove or replace it, which is the usual reason a WooCommerce shop has none.
Letting AI crawlers in
WordPress serves a robots.txt for you; SEO plugins such as Yoast or Rank Math let you edit it, and a security plugin or your host's firewall can still refuse AI crawlers. Blocking AI training crawlers is your choice and doesn’t hide you from AI answers; blocking AI search crawlers does.
